As for his music, you may as well lay your burden down right now, because this guy's gonna get his sounds into your soul sooner or later. His melodies are crisp and hooky, his vocals are honest and heartfelt and he just radiates a positivity that opens you up where you least expect it. Owen's songs are each their own master of the art of simplicity. There's nothing slick going on there. He lays it out there, free of laborious poetry or math-inspired guitar work; just solid songwriting and truthful performance. And without being able to pinpoint where and how, I can only say there's a goodness to his music that gives you just a little more hope in some sort of greater commonality.
