From MTV VJ to Home and Away cast member to staging Hamlet in four languages in a Mexican theatre (!), Australian actor NATHAN CLARK SAPSFORD is forging a career with a truly international flavour.

His first feature film starring role is in HERE BE DRAGONS, the directorial debut of Alastair Newton Brown. Sapsford plays a former UK soldier turned UN war crime investigator, who returns to Serbia to bring a killer to justice and face his psychological demons in the process. Shot on location in Belgrade and the Balkan countryside, Here Be Dragons works as both an authentic throwback to great international thrillers of the 1970s and a potent star-making vehicle for its leading man.

On the eve of the film's digital and physical media release in Australia through ‪@defiantscreenentertainment8732‬ , Nathan Clarke Sapsford spoke with SCREEN WATCHING's Simon Foster about exploring the dark corners of a warzone survivor's PTSD; working with a Serbian crew on a story taken from their recent past; and, staging one of the most shocking opening scenes in recent film history.
