Build Quality? 1-10

8/10 - Porsche builds a quality car. For a high performance vehicle, it has pretty minimal problems as long as it’s properly maintained.

Maintenance Cost? 1-10

7/10 - It’s really tough to say since I’ve only owned the car for a couple weeks. The second day of ownership I did have to replace the slave cylinder line and master cylinder. All together repairs were around $300 including parts and labor. Not bad at all considering it’s a Porsche.

Likely you would recommend to own long term 1-10

9/10 - Ever since owning my 996 911 Targa last year, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the way P cars drive. My old 997.1 C2S checked all of my boxes - it was aesthetically appealing, handled phenomenally, pretty reliable, and had back seats so the family could enjoy it. The car wasn’t a slouch, however, I would consider the car “fast”. The 996 turbo gives me everything I had in the C2S but now I have the straight line power.
