It's taken me a month but I'm FINALLY uploading my Malec video. I've tried so hard to make this video the best it could be, but it's still not great.

I can't believe the show has ended and that Magnus and Alec are really gone, that I'm not gonna see them on my screen in a new episode ever again. That's a hard pill to swallow.

I've watched the show since the beginning, and I read the books years and years ago. Magnus and Alec were instantly my favourite couple - I was only nine when I read the first book and I was in the process of finding who I was and figuring out my sexuality (still, it took me YEARS later to realise exactly what my sexuality was) and having a same sex couple in such a famous book meant the world to young me.

It was only when the TV show started, though, that my love for them grew deeper and deeper with every episode. The moment they met on screen, I had fallen head over heels in love with them once more.

This TV show has meant the world to me. I have met so many people that I love, cherish and adore because of Shadowhunters and the Malec fandom. I am so eternally grateful for this show and all of those people.

This, for sure, will not be the last time I make a video for a Shadowhunters couple (in fact, I am planning on doing a video for Sizzy, next).

I just wanted to add at the end of this description that this little video is dedicated to all the friends I've made through the Malec fandom but, in particular, Suhasini, Ellis and, of course, my beautiful nacho Ines who I already knew but we bonded even more so because of this show.

This won't be my last video of the show, and it especially won't be the last Malec video I do. I promise that much.
