Northeast of South Lake Tahoe and west of Genoa, the Sierra Canyon Trail is a newer mountain biking singletrack from the Tahoe Rim Trail down to the town of Genoa. Starting high in the Sierras, the Sierra Canyon Trail descends over 4,000 feet along 9 miles through dense ponderosa pine forest with over 70+ switchbacks. The best Sierra Canyon Trail mountain biking can be found during the months of June and July.
