This short, silent film starring Babe Ruth dates to the 1930s, and was sold for the home market on 16mm. It appears to feature footage from the Babe Ruth bio film "Headin' Home", made in 1920, plus an animated title sequence and newsreel type footage of the Babe. The film's credits indicate it was made from material owned by the Knickerbocker Film Corporation owned by Allied Manufacturing Co. of Chicago. In the film, the Babe scores a winning home run thanks to his sister Pigtail's intervention -- bringing him a special bat at a critical moment in the game.

Headin' Home is a 1920 American silent biopic sports film directed by Lawrence C. Windom. It attempts to create a mythology surrounding the life of baseball player Babe Ruth.The screenplay was written by Arthur "Bugs" Baer from a story by Earle Browne. Besides Ruth, it stars Ruth Taylor, William Sheer, and Margaret Seddon.
