Today I want to cover the seven surprising things that can kick you out of ketosis. You may know of the typical things that will kick you out of ketosis like sugar and refined carbohydrates, but these are things you might not know about.

1. Stress (cortisol)
2. Excessive amounts of caffeine
3. Bone broth (in large quantities) 
4. MSG (monosodium glutamate) hidden in lots of foods
5. Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, Splenda, saccharine)
6. Excess protein (most people need 3-6 oz. per meal)
7. Too many keto desserts (excessive xylitol)
