Submitted for the Congressional App Challenge 2020, RaceMe is an iOS app that I built to bring the joy and benefits of biking to all. RaceMe's race feature allows users to host multiplayer races in which users can bike with each other and have maps with their path updating on all phones in realtime. Users can keep track of other participants in the race by either watching the live map or the Race Stats view with a leaderboard and more information! The homepage allows users to browse nearby trails and get to them with just a click! The profile lets people see their statistics and how much they have biked along with intelligent and motivating weekly goals. I wrote this is Swift using Apple's MapKit and SwiftUi to make a clean user interface with pleasant animations. I wrote the server in Javascript using NodeJS and used WebSockets through Socket.IO to connect clients securely to the server.
