This documentary was filmed at the Minto Road Dhobi Ghat, located near New Delhi Railway Station in the central district of Delhi. The location is surrounded by government offices, hostels, and high-traffic public areas, making it one of the city’s most active traditional laundry zones.

This film was originally produced as part of my academic research for a system design project at the World University of Design, undertaken under the guidance of my faculty dean, Ms. Lolita Dutta. Through this research and on-ground documentation, I gained extensive insight into how this traditional community-based laundry system functions and how generations continue to sustain this profession.
