Half-Mesa (Black Mesa Style Animations for Half-Life 1) - Full Showcase

This is something that i've been wanting to make ever since i started modding HL1 back in 2017. now that i've learned blender, that dream is fulfilled.

What i did is basically recreating and imitate Black Mesa animations in Half-Life 1 related models. I've gathered numerous weapon skins that i can find i can find that fits HL1 Aesthetic, modify it., and decide to make rig, and animate it from scratch, which as you can see, it's not exactly the same animation as Black Mesa, but at least similiar in a way... i think.


Now, i get what you're thinking, why make this? aren't there is already Black Mesa Weapons that are ported to Half-Life 1?
Well, as much as i find them cool to be ported in Half-Life 1, something that occured to me over the time is that they aren't very optimized, due to how high polyed it is, which causes framerates to drop sometimes, which is why i want to made one using models that aren't too high poly, while also maintaining HL1 aesthetic.
