Allison & Stephen had the most beautiful wedding day at the Shaw Center in Downtown Baton Rouge!

Their story began with a blind date where Allison's best friend Elizabeth set her up with Stephen (now her husband) for a semi-formal in college. When offered the chance to go out with her, Stephen decided to look her up on Facebook first. From the moment he laid eyes on her he was hooked! He quickly called his friend back to let them know not to call anyone else for the blind date "I'm you guy!".

The first date didn't exactly go as planned when to his surprised she got out of the car and walked up to him dressed in a purple romper! He thought to himself "What have I gotten myself into!!".

One of the most heartwarming moments came towards the end of Stephen's toast when he reassured Allison's parents that he truely loved her with all his heart and would prove that to them by "how happy I'm gonna make her".


The reception took place at the Shaw Center's River Terrace which offers a beautiful view overlooking the Mississippi river! There at the reception they had the time of their lives as they celebrated their first dance as husband and wife. Later in the night Allison and all of her bridesmaids would get up on stage to rock out to "Proud Mary" (one of my personal favorite parts of the entire day!).

We would like to give a big shout out to their talented wedding planner Leslie Campbell for doing an AMAZING job putting the whole event together and being so awesome to work with!

We would also like to thank their Photographer Jenn Ocken for being so much fun to work with on the big day!
