It is super simple to use and is actually kind of fun to find problems that you didn't even know your car had. Areas you can use it in is the engine to find gaskets and rubber hoses that are cracked and leaking, the radiator to find where that coolant leak is coming from, the exhaust in which I actually found my muffler had a pin sized hole in a rusted area that I didn't even know was leaking, and the fuel system like the filler neck and fuel tank leaks.
