LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT IN PRAYER.
1️⃣ THE LORD IS ALWAYS READY TO ANSWER OUR PRAYERS

2️⃣ PRAYER IS ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL SPIRITUAL WEAPON OF ATTACK

✦ Peter’s Miraculous Escape from Prison
📖 Acts 12:5
➡ But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him
📖 Acts 12:5-6
✦ Peter was in jail, fastened with chains between two soldiers. Others stood guard at the prison gate. Church were praying (when church pray, leader is set free)
📖 Acts 12:7-11
➡ Chains fell off, doors opened, Angel took Peter out of Jail

3️⃣ JESUS PRAYED ALONE: PRAYER IS PERSONAL
✦ JESUS USUALLY PRAY ALONE MOST OF THE TIME SHOWS THAT PRAYER IS A VERY PERSONAL THING.

4️⃣ JESUS PRAYED ALONE TO RECHARGE HIMSELF FOR THE NEXT ASSIGNMENT
📖 Mark 1:32-34
➡ Jesus was so busy ministering to the needs of the people
➡ Healing them and casting out demons
📖 Mark 1:35 Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray
2. 📖 Mark 1:36-39 After Jesus prayed alone, He went on again to preach because that’s the reason why He came.
✦ PRAYER – RECHARGED JESUS TO HAVE MORE STRENGTH, RESILIENCE AND POWER FOR THE NEXT ASSIGNMENT
✦ NOTE: We have to recharge ourselves everyday in order for us to minister to people effectively!
✦ We cannot minister to the people from our emptiness

5️⃣ PRAYER REFRESHES JESUS, REFRESHES ME TOO.
📖 Matthew 26:41
➡ When you are weak, you become vulnerable to demonic attacks.
➡ When you are weak spiritually, prayer will refreshes you for more strength.
➡ Here is what the Lord Jesus did to refresh Himself for more strength.

6️⃣ PRAYER IS PETITIONING ACCORDING RIGHTS IN THE CONSITUTION OF THE KINGDOM, THE BIBLE.
✦ BIBLE IS THE CONSITUTION OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
1. Petitioning for your needs – according to what God says in His Word.
It contains your rights.
2. God’s promises – Promise of Salvation, forgiveness, redemption, freedom & Deliverance, healing & restoration, prosperity & wealth.
3. Blessings of the Kingdom for you. Eternal life, Rapture, Presence of the Lord etc.
4. Your Protection as a citizen of the Kingdom of God.

7️⃣ MINISTERING TO THE LORD IN PRAYER AND WORSHIP.
✦ Ministering to the Lord – is when you don’t ask the Lord for things, but just stay in His presence in awe of His greatness, and just worship Jesus.
➡ David sat before the Lord, and Ministered to the Lord.

📖 Luke 7:37-38 Sinful woman ministered to the Lord.
➡ “She came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. She stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them”.
