Iberian flavors meet Midwestern love at Bóveda, located just outside of Indianapolis in Fishers, IN.

My experience at their 12-seat counter was delicious. We heard the story behind every bite, from bright shrimp agua chile to creamy Basque cheesecake. Our eight-course meal featured Fisher Farms beef, local produce, and excellent wine. The chicken stuffed with sourdough and chorizo, plus the tomahawk rib and cap were the stars of the show, and the carrots and focaccia were delicious.

Bóveda’s chef Levi has worked in kitchens in Spain as well as kitchens with Michelin stars. His talent and that of his team is on display in every plate they put out — but in the most approachable way. The holiday season is around the corner and I can’t imagine a more special holiday meal than reserving the chef’s counter for a date — or your entire family.
