The Pacific Coast Highway Monument and Searching for White Squirrels in Dana Point

Описание к видео The Pacific Coast Highway Monument and Searching for White Squirrels in Dana Point

California State Route 1, which is also known as the Pacific Coast Highway, has its southern terminus in Dana Point, California. At the start point for the PCH, there is a monument marking the beginning of the highway that is often called the most beautiful road in America. The monument was designed to look like a Richfield Oil Tower, which once helped airplanes navigate up the West Coast of the United States.Aside from the start of California's Highway 1, Dana Point also has something else that is pretty unique, a colony of white squirrels that can be found on an island in Dana Point's harbor. The squirrels were pretty camera shy for us, but we did manage to track them down and get a little bit of footage of them.
