In this video I will show you the current method to set up and get started on Project Quarm! We will be using the TAKP 2.2 client along with a tool called Quarm+ (Quarm Plus). Quarm+ allows us to easily install the Project Quarm server patcher, the Zeal addon which gives a TON of capabilities beyond what classic EQ had, and QuarmTool which provides things such as triggers, timers, maps, and overlays.

1) Download TAKP2.2
2) Unzip the TAKP 2.2 folder to another folder in C:\
3) Make an exception in Windows Defender for that folder
4) Download Quarm+ from the blastlaster GitHub
5) Save it to the main EQ directory (same folder that TAKPv22 is in)
6) Open TAKPv22 folder and Boot EQ (eqgame.exe)
7) Select Options, then close
8) Open Quarm+
9) Install Zeal, QuarmTool, and Quarm Patcher (to your preference)
10) Install desired UI's
11) Run Quarm Patcher through Quarm+
12) Press the "Patch" button
13) In Quarm+, Apply Suggested Settings, WASD+, and scroll through the Advanced Configurator to customize your eqclient.ini file
14) Once Quarm Patcher finishes patching, press the Play button
15) Log in using your takproject.net game account

From there you can open and configure Quarm Tool, in-game options for Zeal, and customize your play experience to suit your character's needs.
