DCS World, Max FPS & Performance tweak tip | Digital Combat Simulator (also in virtual reality)

Описание к видео DCS World, Max FPS & Performance tweak tip | Digital Combat Simulator (also in virtual reality)

In DCS world you have a magic slider for MAX FPS a way to set the maximum FPS your game will try to ask from your CPU and GPU. By default its set to 180 which is way too high for most PCs and in most cases your VR virtual reality helmet or monitor can only do 60, 90 or maybe 120fps. Well why are you forcing your game to push its performance above what it can do and as a result causing it to stutter. This applies weather you are in virtual reality or on a monitor.

The wonderful developers at eagle dynamics have given you the max fps setting so you can cap your fps, its similar to VSYNC but for some folks the VSYNC may not be perfect. DCS is NOT counterstrike or valorant getting 60fps or 300 fps makes no difference when flying around in my opinion so why are you making your video card work so much harder.

And if your video card is not a 4090 why are you asking it to try to give you 180fps, tell it you want 60 and get a more stable and reliable experience!
