FoE How to Start a 1.9 Leveling Thread

In this video, I go in depth into all the specifics I could think of about the 1.9 Leveling Thread and how to start one within Forge of Empires (FoE). While I only play in Brisgard, I am more than willing to create a profile in other domains in order to help other guilds create a 1.9 Leveling Threads just let me know in the comments.

This is the written description I use to explain the 1.9 Leveling Thread in my guild. Feel free to use it and tweak it if necessary:

"1.9 Thread (in Two Days and Safe Locks):

The 1.9 thread is designed around utilizing the benefits of high level Arcs in order to allow players to quickly drop and lock FPs on GBs. This is especially useful for high level GBs that could get sniped if an owner were to use a personal swap partner or the standard FP swap threads, which tend to be slower and more costly. To utilize the thread, spots are safely lockable, announced by the owner, and then called or "saved" so that another player does not drop at the same time, affecting spots and rewards. However, that also means that the player that called the spot must drop FPs immediately.

This thread is open to everyone. This does not mean that you have to use it but all are welcome to do so. Those with Arcs under level 80 can also post out and call spots but please go in knowing there will be a FP loss. If you post GBs, we ask that you also reciprocate and call spots on others as supporting one another encourages constant growth.

It is considered sniping if you take a spot on a GB that an owner has announced and someone else has called. Please be mindful about calling a spot before you drop FPs.

The 1.9 thread offers players the opportunity to utilize the full benefit of those with Arc bonuses, if they so choose. The fundamental idea of this thread is that a GB owner will post his/her GB to thread where it can be locked with 1.9 investment. This results in faster leveling for the GB owner. Those calling spots have the ability to gain blueprints and medals.

In order to utilize this thread a GB owner must do several things. 1) Post the GB along with what spots he/she wants taken at 1.9, 2) Ensure that the spots being posted are safely lockable by callers (self-donation may be needed), 3) Do not post the GB into a standard FP swap thread until desired spots are taken in the 1.9 thread first, 4) The announced GB must level within 2 days.

In order to participate in this thread a GB “caller”, must do several things. 1) Call/Save the spot they intend to take, 2) Calculate the specified drop amount which is determined by the spot’s base reward multiplied by 1.9, 3) Drop the calculated points immediately.

I'll give an example:

I might announce:
Lil Traz 2 1
Lil Cape 3 2 1

Now let's say I want to call spot 1 on the Traz only, I'd then post:

Lil Traz 2
Lil Cape 3 2 1

Now people are able to see what spots are still available.

Once someone wants the last spot on the Traz only, it is cleared from the list. Someone would post:

Lil Cape 3 2 1

If the last spot on a GB is called, then the caller would post:

Clear
