Andre Gress talks about how observation and listening changed his life and helped him in constructing his creative being as a director of musicals. Among the shows he has directed, he includes great titles such as; "Avenida Q - The Broadway Musical" (2015/2016); "The Hour of the Star - The Musical"; "Godspell - The Broadway Musical" (2018) and "RENT - The Broadway Musical" (2019).

He recently signed the direction of Carlinhos Brown's musical show, "Paxuá e Paramim e o Novo Planeta Azulinho" (2022).

Currently, he represents the international organization Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) in Brazil, as National Director, creating a branch of the organization in the country; the Broadway Dreams Foundation Brasil.

In 2014, he was the first international candidate chosen to participate in the Broadway Dreams Foundation training program, serving as associate director to Broadway veterans.

Gress is also the CEO of The Biz Performing Arts, a musical theater themed school that provides training for youth and adults through creating experiences in licensed Broadway shows and arts education productions.
