Lots to like here. Aged rum somewhat muted by a mixed spice linger. Absolutely delicious! Very smooth despite 28% ABV. A definite reorder!

MIXING NOTES: Could try Pusser’s gunpowder proof 109, raising the ABV to 34% ABV. Other sloe gins should work, as would other orgeats.

3 Pusser’s British Navy blue label rum (Guyana 84 proof)
1½ Plymouth Sloe gin (England 52 proof)
¾ Persian lime juice (fresh)
½ Giffard orgeat (France)
¼ Trader Vic Rock Candy syrup (2:1)
Shake dry, all into cracked ice filled mai tai glass, mint
