Our journey to the summit of Mt. Fuji during the hiking season 2024. We stayed at a small town near the mountain called Fujikawaguchiko at a room in a place called Kainosato. Definitely recommended to visit Japan and hike the mountain while you are there! Just make sure to prepare quite a bit if you are not in good shape. I was in pretty good shape but it was still very difficult. It was still the highlight of the trip for me.
