This is a commen problem with Leica M, that the slow gear just need 2-3 drops of lighter fluid, to get the old oil evaporate out at the same time when you do some GENTLY MOVEMENTS with the slow gear.
Let it stay 5 min. and then just add TINY DROP's of thin sewing machine oil into the axel's and gear wheel's in the slow gear.
Again, do some GENTLY movements to get oil to work proper.
