Hey dudes and dudettes!!
This whole video was definitely out of my comfort zone; I've never worked with Basil before and it's been a long time since I worked with Thumbelina and I only JUST got the movie in bluray (thanks to both BoxFeary for uploading the movie and to Kiandrachan for helping me find a way to convert it when Freemake Video Converter failed me xD)
This took SOOOO long to make; I've been working on it on and off since 23rd of July - It's all those Thumbelina maskings' doing! Though I admit when I reached the part with Thumbelina dancing on the stage in the red outfit, I took a break... a three-day break xD Hey, I was procrastinating that particular masking, can you blame me?! haha xD

There's no real plot here except for what you see: Lina is asleep when Basil comes home from a long night working. She's surprised by the intruder until she realizes it's Basil in one of his disguises. She gets up and notices that he's sad because he starts playing his violin - he's had a rough night so she goes to cheer him up by singing. It works and he is in a good mood again, but they both get startled when lightning strikes outside. Thumbelina jumps into Basil's arms in fear and he holds her until they both fall asleep.
On Basil's next night off, they go to a pub where Miss Kitty Mouse is performing. She sees Lina in the audience and beckons her onstage while Basil looks away. Then he sees her on the stage though and is thrilled to see her having so much fun performing.
On yet another day, Basil has bought Lina a toy ballerina and in happiness, she kisses him. It's kinda up to you what relationship they had before the kiss, but they definitely end up lovers after that. The end.

I am not really into the whole anthro thing (frankly it's borderline beastiality to me) but I just LOVE Basil's character too much! If only he was human and not a mouse then he'd be one of my top characters to use at all times XD So, yeah, I decided to ignore the part of me who was screaming "beastiality!" and just focus on the one that thinks these two are just too cute together! Cx

Trivia: (This is a fun little thing I hope to make a part of my video descriptions from now on xD)
Did you notice Thumbelina's shadow at the first clip of her dancing with Miss Kitty Mouse?
There's three different maskings I recycled in this. The first one was recycled three times, the next one was recycled two times and the last one twice as well. Can you guess them all?
One of these manipulations was made with chroma key. Can you see which one?
