0:03 Southgate: Intensity levels have increased now we have reached the knockout stages. Now we’re into the world of it has to happen on the day, you have to go for it.

1:37 Kane: Naturally you get fitter and stronger as you grow into the tournament. I’ve found that a lot in recent tournaments. The most important thing is to get through to the next stage.

2:45 Kane: Slovakia have some great players. They like to press high with a lot of intensity. It will be a tough game, a physical team with a lot of qualities.

4:55 Kane: 99% of the fans are behind the manager, you’re going to have times where people voice their opinions but the second half against Slovenia was one of the best atmospheres I’ve been involved in.

14:37 Southgate: Jude missed a period towards the end of the season with an ankle injury, he’s had a bit of a recovery period. Freshness might make a difference but I’m not concerned about Jude one bit.

16:30 Southgate: 99 matches in charge. I got 57 caps but just getting caps wasn’t why I played for England, I wanted to win things. Tomorrow 99 is irrelevant I want to create some more memories.
