Nusa Penida | The Next Big Thing in Indonesia?

Nusa Penida is a small island off the south coast of Bali and it’s well on is way to becoming he next big tourist destination in Indonesia. Where as Bali is now fully covered with tourists, this paradise island escape could be what you are after. It can get a little busy in the tourist hotspots such as broken beach, angels billabong,kelingking beach and diamond beach but that lasts for a few hours before the peaceful beauty returns. We regret that we only stayed a couple of nights on Nusa Penida, we loved it. Relaxing in the natural pools on tembeling beach was incredible. Hiking down the scary diamond beach stairs was an adventure, getting through the crowds to get to kelingking viewpoint was worth it. All in all we think this little Indonesian island of nusa penida is up there with the best spots to travel. Leave Bali behind for a few days and head to nusa penida, you won’t regret it.
