Originally released in 1994, Azid Force is the collaboration between German producers Oliver Lieb and Pascal FEOS.
Their Magic Mushroom EP is now resurfacing in a newly remastered edition by Oliver Lieb
The record’s three tracks, “Amanita Muscaria”, “Stropharia Cubensis” and “Theonanacati” showcase twisted 303 acid lines, trippy, repetitive builds, and tribal percussion, all steered toward long linear progressions rather than dramatic peaks. “Amanita Muscaria” leads the EP with one of its most hypnotic passages, setting the tone for the darker, more underground acid-sounds of the rest of the release. “Stropharia Cubensis” leans more toward acid house, with a more accessible structure, while “Theonanacati” hovers between psychedelic trance and ambient texture
