Off the back of a difficult weekend in America, Mir and Marini were looiking to bounce back at the familiar Jerez circuit. It was another weekend where working for the future was the key objetive but both riders looked to take the maximum from each session. A Sprint and a race full of collisions, drama and crashes kept it from being anything but easy but Joan Mir showed his champion's spirit with a pair of point scoring rides, taking the most out of the bike on the day.
