And few (if any) of them do a good job of prepping for our meeting - either virtually or face-to-face.

I believe most sales professionals (myself included) could do a much better job of planning and preparing for our customer interactions.

Sure it’s a pain and takes time, but I’ve known for years that top-performing sales pros make it a habit to do the things that everyone else considers to be a hassle.
