Diagnosing and Troubleshooting a 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Diesel | Manifold Leak Detected!

Welcome to the channel! Today, we're diving into the diagnostics of a 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport with a 3L diesel engine. A customer brought in their vehicle complaining of decreased pick-up and power loss, so it's time to investigate.

First up, we hooked the car up to a computer diagnostic tool and uncovered two fault codes under engine management:

P006A - Manifold Absolute Pressure-Mass or Volume Air Flow Correlation
P1247 - Turbocharger Boost Pressure Low
To pinpoint the issue causing the manifold-related fault code, we decided to perform a smoke test using our trusty smoke machine. Lo and behold, the test revealed a leak emanating from the manifold. Ah-ha! Mystery solved.

While we've identified the cause of the P006A code, we're not diving into repairs just yet. We'll save that for another video. So, stay tuned for the follow-up where we'll tackle this repair head-on.
