Ramlal Chaudhary was one of the most neglected music directors of the Hindi film industry, yet he composed some everlasting melodies. Ramlal composed immortal songs for films like 'Sehra', 'Husnbaano','Geet Gaaya Patharon Ne', 'Nakaab posh' and 'Naaglok'.
Ramlal, an accomplished shehnai and flute player himself, started working as an assistant with composer Ram Ganguly for Prithvi theatre. In 1948 he played Flute and Shahnai in many songs for composer Ram Ganguli in 'Aag', Raj Kapoor’s debut film as director.
