We’re super excited to see some results from the Whipple Supercharger team. They took their 2018 GT 10 Speed auto to the track yesterday for the first time after installing and calibrating their new 3.0L Gen 5 supercharger kit. Behind the wheel Dustin Whipple on their 3rd and last pass of the day managed to pull off a [email protected]. All of this on 91 octane and with the car shifting at 7200rpms. It’s easy to see that with some better fuel or e85 as well as a 7800+ shift point this car has an easy 9 in it.

Other modifications to the car when it made this pass were a set of Driveshaft Shop 2000hp axles, BMR driveshaft loop and cradle bushing lockout kit as well as a set of Hoosier slicks on some Racestar 17x9.5” wheels.

Tuning for their supercharger kit is all done in house by Whipple’s top calibration experts so we know not only will this car boogie down the track but it’s going to have excellent street manors for the daily drivers out there.

We’re looking forward to installing their new 3.0L shortly for additional testing and will definitely keep everyone updated.
