An explainer on Trans-Himalayan trails which begin in Daksum in South Kashmir, reach Wadwan valley in Kishtwar and end up in as far as Lamayuru in Ladakh. Earlier international groups of adventure seekers would travel to Kashmir to explore these trans-Himalayan trails.

Waqar Bashir, an ace trans-Himalayan trekker, who has traversed these paths in upper Himalayas over six times, sheds light on these routes and also shares his knowledge about the area and it's people in a special interview with senior journalist Ishfaq Tantry.
