Basically SRQ's theme song! The whole song is talking about how he has both love and hatred and how his love is unable to overcome his responsibilities and need for revenge. He is unable to give her his promise and knows he has failed her. Thus leading to, as the lyrics say, missed opportunities and multiple turns of the head... yet he will never stay.
