Falling Frontier is one of my most anticipated strategy games, set to release into early access in 2022 with a host of new ideas and mechanics in place from when we first took a look at it earlier this year. The grounded 'hard sci-fi' approach is being blended with a grand 'space opera' feel and a cinematic approach to story telling, and what started off as an ambitious sci-fi space strategy game has somehow grown even more ambitious.
