A short video, captured by staff from Globe Rentals Ltd. of the visit, by Charles and Diana to Sunderland Social Services Area Office in St. Thomas's Street Sunderland on 21st May 1985 The recording was originally made using an early model Panasonic NV-M1 VHS camcorder. The VHS tape was then given to Muriel Lloyd (Muriel can be seen in the video) by Globe Rentals's owner, Alan Chapman (Snr). Recently, Muriel asked about getting some images taken off from the recording, that's when I (Alan Chapman (Jnr)) got involved and used the VHS recording to create this video. Sorry, the quality of the recording isn't great (I blame the cameraman) but I couldn't find any mention of Charles and Diana visiting this location during their visit to the North-East. so hopefully some will find it interesting and useful.
