Armenians living in Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora as well as the Armenian community in the United States of America express deep concerns about the recently intensified persecution and oppression of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. International Christian organizations condemn Pashinyan's actions, considering them a severe violation of human rights, freedom of conscience and religion.

During this Briefing organized in Washington for the National Democratic Alliance, the speakers including CSI's Director of Advocacy Joel Veldkamp discuss:

1. The Exclusive Mission of the AAHC, its history and constitutionally prescribed mandate, and international law which protects it.

2. The recent attacks on the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and the attempts to silence its voice and oppress its dissenters, including bloggers and media.
