Funky Mexican Lager Homebrew - NEW 20 Gallon System!

In this brewing video, we show you how to brew a traditional Mexican Lager at home. We're making this beer with a 20 gallon 240-volt brewing system in order to make 10 gallons of finished beer. This is a brew day video where our friend brews with us for the first time, so we'll teach you everything you need to know for your first brew day as well. Although, even advanced homebrewers can gain something from this homebrew video, especially the recipe which makes a full-bodied lager with lime flavor from the Hallertau and Motueka hops. Our goal was to use hops that could mimic the flavor of a lime that's usually put in Mexican beers like Corona and Tecate. In the middle of the video, we take a trip to the attic and install a pulley in our ceiling to lift our grain basket. Using a pulley to lift your grain basket makes brewing easier, especially if you're brewing alone. At the end of this brewing video, we can our finished Mexican Lager and take it to a local CrossFit gym to lift some weights. This lager recipe is super crushable, refreshing, and easy drinking. Make this for a spring or summer day and drink it while you're doing yard work, hanging out at the pool, tailgating, or having friends over for a cookout.
