It takes hours or even days to read a book. But what if you it took you just 15 minutes to read an entire book? Our Consumer Technology Reporter, Jamey Tucker, shows us how.

Remember Cliff Notes? Yellow paperback books that summarized a book you were supposed to read for school? That's the idea behind the app Blinkist.
An app for Android devices and iPhones and iPads, Blinkist offers some of the top non-fiction books in bite-sized summaries. Rather than flipping through hundreds of pages, Blinkist pulls out the most important parts and boils it all down to 15-minute books.

If you'd rather listen, Blinkist offers audio versions that take about 15 minutes to listen to.
Imagine, getting all of the insights and ideas of a book in the time it takes while waiting in a doctor's office, or on a break. Or listen to an audiobook each day on the way to work. Blinkist says it has over 4,500 books to choose from.
It isn't a free app. For a little over $8 a month, you'll have access to Blinkist's library which expands every week.
