While in the studio today with my band I felt compelled to do a live version of this song because since I released it at the beginning of the year it has had different meanings for different people at different times. I was speaking with a friend yesterday that I was so broken hearted and shocked by the magnitude of women and men that came forward with their stories this week. As I scrolled down my feed all I saw was pain, suffering and more pain. The number one reason I chose to do music was so I could uplift and inspire people. So that whatever part of my heart that I chose to share in a song would give them strength in any given moment. In this moment I want to commend everyone who had the courage to stand up this week and simply say two words: Me too. ##metoo
