At the west end of Yeouido, a huge island in the middle of Seoul, there is Yunjung-ro. On this long curve outside the island, numerous cherry blossoms bloom in spring. Along with the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival, the southern tip of Korea, the largest number of people in Korea gather to see the cherry blossoms. This year, just like last year, the festival was canceled altogether because of the coronavirus. And the streets will be closed at the peak of cherry blossoms. So I went there before that.
