Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but an essential component of a prosperous, sustainable and peaceful world. Despite decades of development, Malaysia has struggled to achieve gender equality. Gender discrimination is so normalized in Malaysia that sometimes we are unaware that we are acting sexist. Strong gender discrimination will impact various aspects of business operations, culture and reputation. However, the purpose of the video is to enhance awareness about fairness and equality in the workplace to ensure that all individuals are provided equal opportunities to succeed in their roles regardless of their gender.
