Downfall DLC: Cave Temples
We're back and heading into the second Downfall DLC level, the Cave Temples. It seems finding a lobby for this level was much more difficult, so another player that happened to be nearby, joined me in a co-op game and we decided to head in just the two of us. It becomes apparent early on, that we will be traveling through similar areas of the Adalian Mines from the last episode, but with different objectives. It's a way of keeping things fresh I suppose, and FreelyPhantom and I kick butt all the way through until we reach the actual Cave Temples. Things are going smoothly, until we reach a certain room where we have to clear the enemies out. At the top, I noticed my new friend had fallen to his death, and in an effort to save him quickly, I miss the stairs and also fall to my death. I cut out our journey back to this room, and pick up here on our second try. We make it to the end without much more hassle, and face off against the second DLC Boss. This Boss is much quicker, and has a power that seems to freeze people in place while he has a chance to wail on them. At the end, I accidentaly knock out my partner, and then quickly dispatch the boss and save him. It was a close call, but we managed to win. The two of us will be back in the final level next time!
