साउथ की फिल्मों के सुपरस्टार दर्शन तुगुदीपा ने गिरफ्तारी के बाद पुलिस के सामने कबूल किया है कि उसने रेणूका स्वामी की हत्या के इस मामले को दबाने के लिए आरोपियों को 30 लाख रुपये दिए थे. यह बात पहले ही पकड़े जा चुके सुपारी किलर्स ने पुलिस को पूछताछ के दौरान बताई थी. अब दर्शन के बयान ने इस बात की तस्दीक कर दी है. यही नहीं, जब दर्शन को मैसूर से गिरफ्तार किया गया, तो उसने पुलिस से कहा कि वह अपनी कार से पुलिस थाने जाएगा और पुलिस की जीप में नहीं बैठेगा. हालांकि पुलिस ने उसकी बात नहीं मानी और उससे कहा कि अगर वो उनके साथ पुलिस की जीप में नहीं बैठा तो उसे पुलिस के गुस्से का सामना करना पड़ेगा.
