In some cases, wearing a knee brace could be helpful for a meniscus tear. But some people might feel that the brace gets in the way more than it helps. It depends on where you are in your meniscus tear healing. Early on using a brace could be helpful in reducing pain. As the torn meniscus improves and it's possible to be more active, then the brace may no longer be needed.

(This advice does not apply to those that have undergone meniscus surgery. Please follow your surgeon's instructions.)
