Stella Vita Guiding Star of Vitality

А group of students from the Dutch Technical University of Eindhoven are independently developing solar electric vehicles of various classes. With one of them, the Stella Vita motorhome, the team intends to make a 3000 km trip in the near future. The camper can travel at speeds of up to 120 km/h and is equipped with 8.8 m2 of photopanels built into the roof. During parking, the total surface area of the solar panels can be increased to 17.5 m2 by retractable panels. The generated energy is fed into a 60 kWh lithium-ion battery. The raised roof allows standing inside the electric car. According to the developers' plan, the power of the car's solar panels should be enough to power all the Stella Vita's systems, including the electric drive. Therefore, it is expected that the solar camper will not need charging stations while traveling. The minimalist cabin features a large vertically oriented display in the middle of the front panel. The center console has a space for a portable Bluetooth speaker, as there is no standard speaker in the vehicle.
