Vanitas are rising fast in the UK heavy scene, bringing their unique blend of progressive metal
and djent with orchestral elements that wouldn’t sound out of place in a Final Fantasy
soundtrack; creating what they’ve coined ‘cinematic djent’. In 2024, Vanitas return matured and dangerous, with a promise to deliver their heaviest release yet. Their sophomore EP ‘Chaos Theory’ represents a savage expression of rage and desperation; born from a time of turmoil and wearing its scars proudly. Setting the scene; single releases ‘Grey Morality’ & ‘Lies’ quickly gained an exciting reaction reaching a combined 37K views on their respective music videos with over 9K streams and over 1K monthly listeners on spotify. Vanitas continue to build their momentum with Chaos Theory’s third track ‘E.D.G.’ out now, with the upcoming 6-track EP out Friday August 2nd 2024.
