no good names came to mind, so I guess I'll just let one of you guys name it.

sometimes, when I sit down to make songs, I get so caught up in a certain mode that I forget I actually have full creative freedom. the annoying thing is that since I forget, I just classify it as a creative block and don't pursue what it can be. I got that feeling pretty heavy while making wickerlight village, only I just kept hacking away at it instead of just scrapping the project like I normally do.

I think it comes from a place of growth. I can't put into words just how much I've been trying to do something different than what I have been for the last few years. all the bright chiptune and synths are fine, but at what point do I need to branch out and actually try to learn more, right?

I just need to remember that I'm still allowed to do my own thing still.
