After the completion of Vedic ritual all the kings and Sage Rishyasringa took leave of Dasharatha . Later, Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna were born. Their virtues in childhood and the connected rituals are depicted here. At that juncture when Dasharatha contemplates the marriages of the princes, Sage Vishvamitra arrives at the court of Dasharatha seeking help from the king. Dasharatha receives him with a befitting welcome.
