During our conversation he discussed his upbringing in Durham, coming from the trenches, growing up in a gang affiliated area, not wanting to be a rapper at first, staying in the shadows for a while before pursing his rap career, DMX inspiring him, using his platform to inspire other people, having a bad home life, different challenges that black men go through, his album “Skull” immediately catching the biggest buzz throughout his city, “Moshpit Messiah” changing the way he views his music, finding his purpose, his single “Quarantine” having his city going crazy, writing the single in the shower, becoming a father, his child’s mom encouraging him to keep pursing music, his journey with fatherhood, dropping his visual for “Oh Yeah” in 2023 and upcoming project “The Forbidden Art of Chaos”, and more!
