Follow @edeneats for more easy recipes ✨ Creamy, buttery, spicy, tangy and toasty– I mean what more could you ask more? Perfect for anytime of the day, this Turkish egg toast always does the trick. Fried the eggs for this one because 1. It’s less effort and 2. I just love the crispy fried edges.

Turkish Egg Toast

• 2 eggs
• 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
• 2 pieces of bread- I used challah toasted but any kind of bread could work here. Just toast
• 1 clove garlic
• 1/2 cup full fat Greek yogurt or labneh (1/4 cup for each piece)
• kosher salt and cracked black pepper to taste
• 3 tablespoons salted butter (1 to fry the eggs)
• 2 tsp Aleppo Chili
• Maldon salt to finish

DIRECTIONS
1. Heat 1 tablespoon butter. Add both eggs, season with kosher salt and cracked black pepper and fry until golden underneath and the white is almost all set, around 3 minutes. Keep to the side when it is done.
2. Place the bread in the toaster. When golden, remove and rub the garlic clove all over. Place 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt on each toasted bread. Place an egg on each piece.
3. In the same pan that you fried the egg in (give it a little wipe) place the salted butter. Let melt and then add the Aleppo in. Let it sizzle and froth a little, releasing all the flavor around 1 minute on medium low. Remove from the heat and drizzle 1 tablespoon on each toast. Finish with flaky sea salt and eat.

While in India, Eden volunteered with an orphanage called Ramanas Garden, where she re-opened a café to raise money and awareness for the orphanage. After returning to NYC, Eden completed a management program at The Institute of Culinary Education.

Soon after, Eden met Samantha Schutz, and together they created Eden Eats, a Cooking Channel show that explored the global culinary food scene. A year later, Eden launched Log On & Eat with Eden Grinshpan on Cooking Channel, where she traveled the country in search of the most adventurous, well-known food bloggers and social media influencers.

In May 2018, Eden partnered with by Chloe Founder Samantha Wasser to open DEZ, a Middle Eastern fast casual restaurant in NYC that featured a menu inspired by Eden’s Israeli heritage and travels.

Eden released her first cookbook, EATING OUT LOUD with Clarkson Potter, September 1, 2020.

Eden lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Ido, her 4 year old daughter, Ayv and her newborn, Romi.
